Mission Statement

"To support the long term economic and physical development of the nation by providing quality insurance service, promoting sound fiscal disciplines and capitalization criteria amongst the membership, and being proactive in public awareness of insurance related issues."

Objectives

To consider, at the request of one or more members, or of any Body with which the Association may be in correspondence, any matter affecting the Insurance Industry in Jamaica, and to advise thereon or take any action that is deemed necessary.

Membership

Membership shall be open to any Insurance Company transacting business in Jamaica. Applications for membership of the Association shall be submitted to the members and shall only be accepted if approved by at least two-thirds thereof. Every member shall pay a subscription which shall be determined annually by the Association.
